Tax Day Tea Party

Hello All,

There will be a Tulsa Tea Party on April 15th that we would encourage everyone who supports limited government to go. Here is some information on the rally:

The Tea Party effort is a movement aimed at restoring the basic free market principals our country was built on. The Constitution, for the most part, is being ignored by our current government and we intend on working together to correct the problem. This is a grassroots, collaborative volunteer organization made up of everyday American Citizens with a burning desire to restore freedom. We have a devotion to saving our country and preserving our liberty and freedom for ourselves and future generations.The Tea Party movement is picking up steam as more and more Americans begin to realize that the Federal Government is in the process of taking away all of our Freedoms! There are a total of 10 Nationwide Rallies planned between now and the 2010 Elections, and we must mobilize to save our Republic, before it's too late!This is not about Democrats and Republicans... it's about the Constitution and loving America!We will march in protest, write letters, make phone calls, peacefully demonstrate, and we will make sure elected officials hear our voices and opposition loud and clear. We are not the type of people who generally march in protests because we are busy running our businesses and working in all sectors of the economy. We are business owners, employees, veterans, retirees, housewives, clergy, volunteers and citizens who have had enough! When we are not working, we continue to actively contribute to society by staying busy raising our families, taking care of our property, and volunteering to help our communities and churches for the good of others.Things have gone too far and are rapidly escalating out of control with the new Administration and the current Congressional make-up. Politicians have violated the public trust by spending into perilous levels and taking away our liberty which may lead us to bankruptcy or economic failure. Our elected officials, through their reckless and wrongheaded legislation, have awakened a sleeping giant – the heart and soul of the American people – and We, The People, are not going to take it anymore.
